Change of Server IP address

There appears to be some technical issues continuing at the moment.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to have normal service restored as soon as possible.

As a reminder , the IP of the server has also changed (as Zak said, but im going to say it in colour!)

The ip is now 86.8.204.170

If you have not already edited your hosts file to reflect this please do so.

the hosts file is usually located at

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad
(for vista/win 7 users you will probably need to right click notepad and lft click Run as administrator )

Go to File > Open
then browse to the folder listed above
Change it from "Text documents (*.txt)" to "All files"

You should now see a file called hosts. double click on it.

Look for the line
80.3.188.201 l2authd.lineage2.com <<old line we want to change

replace it with (or if the above line dosnt exist add this line)
86.8.204.170 l2authd.lineage2.com #<< new fabby, sexy, groovy and cool line

Then click File > Save

You are now all set to connect to the server (as soon as Virgin Media stop using Zak's cable connection as a novelty and somewhat out of season christmas decoration)

Server ip is changed back to 80.3.188.201

be sure you have line:

80.3.188.201 l2authd.lineage2.com

in your hosts file
